The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District is scheduled to discuss the expired Fairfield Bay Park lease during a Fairfield Bay City Council work session at 2 p.m. Oct. 30, 2023, in the Fairfield Bay Conference Center.

The Corps of Engineers and the city of Fairfield Bay have a 26-year history of working together to operate and maintain Fairfield Bay Park. The park’s original 25-year lease expired in April 2022 and is currently being managed in a holdover status. A new lease agreement is pending compliance issues identified in an April 2022 inspection. Once compliance is met the city of Fairfield Bay will have the opportunity to sign a new lease and continue operating Fairfield Bay Park.

USACE is only accepting questions and comments submitted ahead of time because the park’s lease is pending contractual agreement. Questions and comments for consideration can be emailed to littlerockrealestate@usace.army.mil.

The Fairfield Bay Conference Center is located at 110 Lost Creek Parkway, Fairfield Bay, Arkansas 72088.
