National Engineer Week, Feb. 21-27
The Corps of Engineers has been engineering solutions to our Nation’s greatest challenges since 1775. Our legacy includes design and construction of iconic American projects, improving inland navigation and opening the American west with explorers, surveyors, and map-makers. The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) expertise found in today’s Corps directly impacts today’s global economy. That STEM knowledge is vital, because from it flows innovation, economic growth and productivity.
