Beginning today, the Joe Hardin Lock (No. 3) is reopened to navigation traffic. Until further notice this lock will only be available for lockage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day, and tow haulage is currently unavailable.
Mariners are asked to contact each lock on Channel 16, prior to arrival, for current information. Mariners are also reminded that the navigation channel and lock approaches have not been surveyed, as currents are still moving sediment and preventing safe operation of survey vessels.
