MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 26-20 Caution Advisory NM 291.6 I-49 Bridge

Mariners are advised that starting June 15th, 2026, bridge construction activities will continue at NM 291.6, downstream of James W. Trimble Lock and Dam (No. 13). This work will be on the bridge pier adjacent to the navigation channel on the left descending side.

USACE issues small craft advisory for Arkansas River

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a small craft advisory for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System in Arkansas. Heavy rainfall in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas has resulted in Arkansas River flows exceeding 70,000 cubic feet per second.

One lane of Highway 32 across Millwood Dam to temporarily close

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be closing one lane of the Highway 32 bridge across Millwood Dam from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. June 8 through June 12, 2026, for scheduled gate inspections and routine maintenance activities.

MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 26-19 Lock 10 Intermittent Delays

Mariners may expect to experience intermittent delays at Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5 on June 9th, 2026 – June 11th, 2026. Intermittent delays are required to perform a survey of the lock chamber.
