BRANSON, Mo. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is closing swim beaches at Aunts Creek, Big M and Cape Fair campgrounds on Table Rock Lake until further notice.
The temporary closure is the result of higher than acceptable E. coli levels that were found during routine testing conducted by project office personnel.
USACE has posted signs indicating high bacteria levels at the swim beaches. Park rangers will retest next week and reopen the beaches when test results indicate bacteria levels are within an acceptable range.
For more information on the status of other swim beaches on Table Rock Lake, contact the project office at 417-213-4810 or visit https://www.swl.usace.army.mil/Home/Swim-Beach-Closures/.
