RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will temporarily close the “A” Area at Springhill Park including group shelters 1, 2 and 5, June 8 through Sept. 21 for paving and electrical upgrades.
The closures are necessary to safely complete the work and improve long-term functionality of the park.
The boat launch ramp at Springhill Park will remain open at this time. However, temporary access interruptions may occur later in the project during paving operations. Additional updates regarding launch ramp closures will be announced as information becomes available.
USACE officials regret the inconvenience but emphasize that the work will enhance safety and improve the visitor experience.
