MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. -- MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has completed scheduled routine maintenance on Bull Shoals Dam and all lanes of traffic on Highway 178 across the dam are now open. The next planned full road closure is scheduled for Jan. 27 and 28.
The maintenance work supports USACE’s priority to deliver and sustain the nation’s critical infrastructure while emphasizing efficiency and accountability.
Crews completed the work as planned and ahead of schedule to minimize impacts to the traveling public and ensure continued reliability of the dam.
Officials thank the public for their patience during the temporary closure.
