LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a regulatory transformation workshop from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 6, 2026, at the Statehouse Convention Center, located at 101 E. Markham St., Little Rock, Arkansas.

The event will provide an opportunity for regulatory experts, federal, state and local partners and industry consultants to network, share insights and learn about the latest USACE policies, updates and best practices.
Session topics will include Regulatory Program history, authorities and updates, submitting applications, technology including the Regulatory Request System, permit types, jurisdiction and mitigation strategies.
The Little Rock District has a diverse mission that encompasses both military and civil works projects. Within the district’s geographic boundaries, they are responsible for operating 12 multipurpose lakes, 13 locks and dams, 308 miles of navigation on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, 138 parks and seven hydroelectric plants.
