DARDANELLE, Ark. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District closed Dardanelle Marina Dec. 31, 2025, due to the nonrenewal of the facility's lease. The district chose not to renew the lease with Dardanelle Marina because of ongoing public safety violations and failure to meet the lease conditions

Vessel owners must remove all boats and personal belongings from the premises by March 7, 2026. Any vessels or property left after April 8, 2026, will be subject to impoundment under Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 327.15, which addresses the abandonment of personal property on federal lands.

The Little Rock District has diverse mission that encompasses both military and civil projects. Within the district’s geographic boundaries, they are responsible for operating 12 multipurpose lakes, 13 locks and dams, 308 miles of navigation on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, 138 parks and seven hydroelectric plants.
