USACE to reopen Cranfield Park on Norfork Lake

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mountain Home Project Office will reopen Cranfield Park on Norfork Lake at 10 a.m., July 26. 

The day use area will continue to be closed because of high water, damaged facilities, and debris. Campsites 1 through 7 and Group Shelter CF-1 on the island will also remain closed.

Previously made reservations that are set to begin on or after July 26 will still be honored on sites that are reopening and customers should receive an email from Recreation One Stop with reservation details. 

Future reservations need to be made online through www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.  No fees will be collected onsite.
