LOCKS RESUME 24 HOUR OPERATIONS

JOE HARDIN LOCK (No. 3) NM 50.2

EMMETT SANDERS LOCK (No. 4) NM 66.0

OZARK-JETA TAYLOR LOCK (No. 12) NM 256.8

MCCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM

 

Joe Hardin Lock (No. 3) NM 50.2, Emmett Sanders Lock (No. 4) NM 66.0, and Ozark-Jeta Taylor Lock (No. 12) NM 256.8 have resumed 24 hour operations.  Tow haulage is currently unavailable.

Mariners are asked to contact the locks on Channel 16, prior to arrival, for current information.  Mariners are also reminded that the navigation channels and lock approaches in Arkansas have not been surveyed, as currents are still moving sediment and preventing safe operation of survey vessels.
