Starting Monday, June 17, 2019, the Colonel Charles D. Maynard Lock (No. 5), the David D. Terry Lock and Dam (No. 6) and Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 will reopen to navigation traffic. Until further notice these locks will only be available for lockage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day, and tow haulage is currently unavailable.
Mariners are asked to contact each lock on Channel 16, prior to arrival, for current information. Mariners are also reminded that the navigation channel and lock approaches have not been surveyed, as currents are still moving sediment and preventing safe operation of survey vessels.
The originally scheduled closure of Murray Lock (No, 7) for June 17-20, 2019, announced in Navigation Notice SWL 19-25, will be rescheduled at a later date.
Questions or requests for additional information concerning this notice should be directed to the Little Rock District Office, at (501) 324-5739 or you may email CESWL-OP-OM@usace.army.mil.
