HIGHWAY 165/265 BRIDGE ACROSS TABLE ROCK DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE

BRANSON, Mo. – The Corps of Engineers will close both lanes of Highway 165/265 across Table Rock Dam from 8 p.m. Nov. 7 until 6 a.m. Nov. 8; 8 p.m. Nov. 16 until 6 a.m. Nov. 17 and 8 p.m. Nov. 17 until 6 a.m. Nov. 18 to install equipment needed to refurbish the dam’s gates.

Corps issues small craft advisory for Arkansas River

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers issued a small craft advisory for the Arkansas River downstream of Van Buren, Arkansas. Overnight rainfall in Oklahoma and western Arkansas have caused flows to rise. Small craft advisories are issued when flows exceed 70,000 cubic feet per second. During high flows, strong currents and large debris can threaten the safety of pleasure craft.

This change will underway now and will be in effect until noon on Monday, October 28. This change is needed by Arkansas Nuclear One to address issues with their scheduled maintenance actions currently underway.
