USACE plans prescribed burns

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will conduct prescribed burns on public lands surrounding Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes from Dec.18, 2023 until April 12, 2024.

One lane of Highway 165/265 across Table Rock Dam to temporarily close

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be closing one lane of the Highway 165/265 bridge across Table Rock Dam and the Table Rock Auxiliary Spillway from Jan. 2 to Feb. 29 so work crews can conduct routine maintenance and repairs on both structures.

Temporary full road closure of Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduling a full road closure for Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam from 7 a.m. Dec. 18 until 5 p.m. Dec. 20, 2023, to deploy and remove equipment used to perform maintenance on the dam.
