Picnicking

Picnicking facilities are available at many parks and are often located near playgrounds. Picnic shelters are ideal for family reunions, weddings, company picnics or civic organization gatherings. Many shelters afford scenic views of the lake. Shelters are located in all Corps of Engineers parks except Cherokee and Cove Creek. Picnic shelters are available for reservations by calling the Project Office at 501-362-2416. Reservations are not required for the shelter at Mill Creek Park. Reservation fees range from $30, $40 & $125 for half day use to $50, $60 & $175 for all day use.
