Cherokee

Description: : Campground is located on the north side of the lower lake just west of Silver Ridge Peninsula.

Location: : From Drasco, AR, take Hwy 92 West 7 miles then 3 miles south on Brownsville Road. Follow signs into campground.

Address: 475 Cherokee Park Road Greers Ferry, AR. 72067

Facilities: 33 campsites (16 with electric, 17 without), vault toilet, drinking water, trailer dump station, launching ramp.

Fees: $12 non-electric, $14 electric, $16 prime electric.

Open: : Open May 15 - September 15; First-Come, First-Served.

Choctaw

Description: Campground is located on the western end of the upper lake south of Clinton, AR.

Location: : From Clinton, AR, take US 65 5 miles south to AR 330 then 3.5 miles east. Follow signs into campground.

Address: 3850 Hwy 330 East Clinton, AR 72031

Facilities: 146 campsites (78 with electric, 68 without), flush and vault toilets, showers, drinking water, trailer dump station, launching ramp, swimming area, playground, picnic shelter, and marina.

Fees: $14 for non-electric, $17 electric, $19 prime.

Open: April 1 – Oct 31; reservable season May 15– September 5.

Cove Creek

Description: : Campground is located on the south end of the lower lake southwest of Heber Springs, AR.

Location: From Heber Springs, Arkansas, travel 6.3 miles southwest on SR 25, then 3 miles northwest on SR 16, then 1.25 miles northeast on access road. Follow signs into campground.

Address: 734 Cove Creek Road Quitman, AR. 72131

Facilities: 65 campsites (31 with electricity, 34 without), flush and vault toilets, showers, drinking water, trailer dump station, launching ramp, swimming area and picnic shelter.

Fees: $14 for non-electric, $17 electric, $19 prime.

Open: April 1 – Oct 31; reservable season May 15 – September 5.

Dam Site

Description: Campground is located on the lake shoreline near the dam adjacent to Heber Springs, AR.

Location: From Heber Springs, AR, take Hwy 25 1/2 mile north and follow signs into the campground.

Address: 315 Heber Springs Road North Heber Springs, AR. 72543

Facilities: 252 campsites (158 with electric of which 49 will have 50 amp service, 94 without) 40 campsites have water hoolups available at the site.

Fees:
$14 for non-electric, $17 electric, $19 prime, $20 with water.

Devils Fork

Description: Campground is located on the lake shoreline near Greers Ferry, AR.

Location: From Greers Ferry, AR, take SR 16 1/4 mile north and follow signs into the campground.

Description: Campground is located on the lake shoreline adjacent to Heber Springs, AR.

Location: From Heber Springs, AR, travel 2 miles west on Hwy 110, then 0.5 mile north on Park Road. Follow signs into the campground.

Facilities: : 142 campsites (106 with electric, 36 without), flush and vault toilets, showers, drinking water, trailer dump station, launching ramp, swimming area, playground, picnic shelter and marina.

Hill Creek

Description: Campground is located on the upper lake shoreline near Greers Ferry, AR.

Location: From Drasco, AR, take Hwy 92 west 12 miles to Hwy 225. Travel Hwy 225 northwest 3 miles, then 2 miles south on Hill Creek Road. Follow signs into the campground.

Address: 474 Hill Creek Road Edgemont, AR. 72044

Facilities: 41 campsites (25 with electric, 16 without), flush and vault toilets, showers, drinking water, trailer dump station, launching ramps, swimming area, picnic shelter and marina.

Fees: $14 for non-electric, $17 electric.

John F. Kennedy

Description: Campground is located on the left, descending bank of the Little Red River just below Greers Ferry Dam.

Location: From Heber Springs, AR, take Hwy 25 north 4 miles, cross dam, and turn right on the second road.

Facilities: 74 campsites with electricity (13 have water hookups), flush toilets, showers, drinking water, trailer dump station, launching ramp, playground and picnic shelter.

Description:

Description: Campground is located on the mid-lake shoreline south of Greers Ferry, AR.

Sugar Loaf

Description: Campground is located on the upper lake 4 miles west of Greers Ferry, AR.

Location: Sugar Loaf is 12 miles northeast of Bee Branch on State Hwy 92, then 1.5 miles west on State Hwy 337.

Address: 1389 Resort Road Higden, AR 72067

Facilities: : 95 campsites (56 with electricity, 39 without), flush and vault toilets, showers, drinking water, trailer dump station, launching ramp, swimming area, playground, picnic shelter and marina.

Fees: $14 for non-electric, $17 electric, $19 prime.

Open: April 1 – Oct 31; reservable season May 15 – September 5, 2007.

Group Camping

Description: : Two parks on the lake, Old Highway 25 and Shiloh, have group camp areas designed for larger groups who wish to camp together.

Location: : For Old Highway 25, from Heber Springs, AR, take Hwy 25 6.25 miles north to Tumbling Shoals, AR and Hwy. 25S. Travel Hwy. 25S 3 miles west and follow signs into campground. For Shiloh, from Greers Ferry, AR, travel 3.5 miles southeast on Hwy. 110, and follow signs into the campground.


Facilities: Old Highway 25’s camp area B has 16 campsites without electricity, flush toilet, drinking water, launching ramp and picnic shelter. Showers are available elsewhere in the park. Shiloh’s camp area I has 17 campsites without electricity, vault toilet, drinking water, launching ramp and picnic shelter. Showers are available elsewhere in the park.

Fees: $150 per night. Reservations for these areas may be made through the National Recreation Reservation Service.

Open: April 1 – Nov 1; reservable season May 16 - September 15, 2007.
