Bona Dea Park

Description: Day use only park. The nearly six miles of trails that wind through the sanctuary provide a multitude of recreational opportunities including walking, jogging, bicycling, nature photography, and nature study. For detailed description click here.

Cabin Creek Park

Description: Cabin Creek Park is a launch ramp site only. The ramp is open year round.

Cane Creek Park

Description: Cane Creek is a Class C Park with a vault toilet, visitor protection, and 16 tent sites. It is open for boat launching year round, with the sites open for camping May 1 - October 31. It is a FREE camping park.

Location: Five miles east Scranton on State Hwy 197.

Facilities: 16 campsites. 1 boat launch ramp.

Fees: Free camping. Day use fee does not apply.

Open: May 1 - October 31. Boat launch is open year round.

Delaware Park

Description: Class C Park with vault toilets and 13 tent sites. It is open for picnicking and boat launching year round, with the sites open for camping May 1 - Labor Day.

Location: 2 miles north of Delaware on State Hwy 393.

Facilities: 13 campsites. 1 boat launch ramp. 1 picnic shelter.

Fees: $10 for campsites. Picnic shelter is $50 daily rental.

Open: Fee season May 1 - Labor Day. Day use fee does not apply. Open for picnicking and boat launching year round.

Dublin Park

Description: 1 picnic shelter that is available for reservations March 1 – October 31. There are 15 sites available for PICNICKING ONLY, March 1 - October 31. For more information, contact the park volunteer at 479-938-7842 or the Project Office.

Location: 8 miles east of Scranton on State Hwy 197.

Facilities: 15 picnic sites. 1 picnic shelter. 1 boat launch ramp.

Fees: Day use fee applies. Picnic shelter is $50 daily rental.

Location: 6 miles west of Clarksville on State Hwy 194, then 1 mile south on State Hwy 194 Spur.

Old Post Road Park

Description: Class A Park with flush toilets, showers, a trailer dump station, visitor protection, and new, level sites with water and electricity at each. Picnic shelters arePhoto. Location: 3 miles west of State Hwy 7 south in Russellville on State Hwy 7 south spur. It is overlooking the north bank of the Arkansas River at Dardanelle Lock & Dam.

Facilities: 40 campsites, 8 picnic shelters, boat launch ramp, playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball, soccer field, and softball field.

Fees: Day use fee does not apply. Campsites $18. Picnic shelters are $50 daily rental. Tennis Courts( 3-6 are reservable )$30 all day rental. Soccer field $30 all day rental. Softball field $50 all day & weekends, $10 for 2 hrs. Monday-Friday.

Piney Bay Park

Description: Class A Park with flush toilets, showers, a trailer dump station, visitor protection, and many sites with water and electricity. Location: 4 miles east of London on State Hwy 64, then 3 miles north on State Hwy 359.

Fees: Day use fee applies. Campsite fees range from $10 to $20. Picnic shelters at $50 daily rental.

Pontoon Park

Description: Scenically located at the foot of Petit Jean Mountain and offers an excellent launching opportunity for the Petit Jean River. This park is a day use area only.

Location: 8 miles south of Dardanelle on State Hwy 7 south, then 9 miles east on State Hwy 154.

Facilities: 6 picnic sites and 1 boat launch ramp.

Fees: Day use fee does not apply.

Riverview Park

Description: Class B Park with a vault toilet and 8 camping sites with electricity and water. It is open for picnicking year round, with the sites open for camping March 1 - October 31. Campers can utilize the trailer dump station in Old Post Road, located across the river from Riverview.

Location: West of State Hwy 7 South in Dardanelle on Second Street. Located immediately below the Dardanelle Dam and Powerhouse.

Facilities: 18 campsites, 14 picnic sites, 1 picnic shelter.

Fees: Campsite fees range from $10 to $18. Picnic shelter at $35 daily rental.

Sweeden Island

Description: Class B Park with a trailer dump station, visitor protection, and 28 sites with water, 22 of which have electricity. A picnic shelter is available for rent March 1 – October 31. It is scenically located on bluffs overlooking the Arkansas River. Many opportunities exists here for waterfowl viewing and fishing. Location: 15 miles south of Atkins on State Hwy 105.

Facilities: 28 total campsites, 22 campsites with electricity, 1 picnic shelter, 1 boat launching ramp.

Fees: Day use fee does not apply. Campsite fees range from $10 to $16. Picnic shelters at $35 daily rental, for rent March 1 – October 31.

Open: March 1 - October 31.

Information

Class A parks have flush toilets, showers, trailer dump stations, visitor assistance, designated camp spaces, trash containers, and water.

Class B parks have the same facilities as Class A parks except showers and flush toilets.

Class C parks usually have vault toilets, visitor protection, designated tent or trailer spaces, trash cans, and drinking water. They do not have trailer dump stations. Some projects have prime sites, for which there is a slightly higher charge.

Reservations must be made 3 days in advance of arrival. When checking in on a reservation, you must pay for the total number of nights you have reserved. A $3 administrative fee per reservation, in addition to the camping fee, will be changed. This administrative fee is not subject of the America the Beautiful Passport Discount. Campsites in the reservation system are equipped with water, toilets, showers, fire rings or grills and tables. Most campsites will accommodate camping units up to 35 feet in length and electric hookups are available.

Please be aware:
Due to unforeseen circumstances such as high river levels or storm damage, it may be necessary to close certain facilities. It is recommended that you contact the Russellville Project Office before you make reservations.
