Ashley Creek

Description:
Ashley Creek is located on Blue Mountain Lake approximately two miles south of the town of Blue Mountain. The park provides boat launching, fishing, picnicking, and sightseeing.

Location: Follow State Highway 10 to the town of Blue Mountain, Arkansas. Turn south on Ritchie Road for approximately two miles to the park.

Facilities: Ashley Creek provides a boat launching ramp, vault restroom and water hydrant.

Fees: A day-use fee is collected for use of the boat launching ramp.

Hise Hill


Description: Hise Hill is located on the Petit Jean River at the headwaters of Blue Mountain Lake approximately eleven miles southeast of Booneville, Arkansas. The park provides boat launching, fishing, picnicking, and sightseeing.

Location: Follow State Highway 10 to Booneville, Arkansas. Turn south on State Highway 23 for approximately ½ mile. Turn east on State Highway 217 for approximately eleven miles to the park.

Facilities: Hise Hill provides a boat launching ramp, vault restroom and water hydrant.

Fees: A day-use fee is collected for use of the boat launching ramp.

Lick Creek

Description: Lick Creek is located on Blue Mountain Lake approximately four miles south of Waveland, Arkansas. The park provides boat launching, fishing, picnicking, and sightseeing.

Location: Follow State Highway 10 to Waveland, Arkansas. Turn south on State Highway 309 for approximately four miles to the park.

Facilities: Lick Creek provides a boat launching ramp, vault restroom and water hydrant.

Fees: A day-use fee is collected for use of the boat launching ramp.

Outlet Area

Description: Outlet Area Park is located just downstream of Blue Mountain Dam. Water flow from the dam travels down the river channel through the park as it heads further down in the Petit Jean River Valley.

Location: Follow State Highway 10 to Waveland, AR. Turn south on State Highway 309 for one mile, then turn west on Waveland Park Road traveling one mile. Turn left on Outlet Park Road near the Blue Mountain Lake Field Office (watch for signs). The park is located south of Blue Mountain Dam.

Facilities: The river channel through the park provides visitors excellent bank fishing opportunities. Outlet Area is also an excellent area to camp, picnic, or sightsee. There are 38 camp/picnic sites, most with electricity and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, hot showers, a playground, hiking trail, and fish cleaning station.

Fees: $16 for sites with 30 amp electric and water hookups, $18 for sites with 50 amp electric and water hookups – March 1 through October 31.
$14 for sites with 30 amp electric and water hookups, $16 for sites with 50 amp electric and water – November 1 through February 28.
There are three multi-family sites with the fees being two times the above amounts for each site.

Waveland Park


Description: Waveland Park is located on the lake just upstream of Blue Mountain Dam. The park provides camping, swimming, access for boating, sightseeing – a place to relax.

Location: Follow State Highway 10 to Waveland, Arkansas. Turn south on State Highway 309 for one mile, then turn west on Waveland Park Road for approximately one mile to the park.

Facilities: Waveland Park has 51 campsites with electrical and water hookups, a dump station, waterborne restrooms with showers, fish cleaning station, swim beach, launching ramps, group picnic shelter, amphitheater, and public phone nearby.

Fees: $16 for sites with 30 amp electric and water hookups, $18 for sites with 50 amp electric and water hookups – March 1 through October 31.
$14 for sites with 30 amp electric and water hookups, $16 for sites with 50 amp electric and water hookups – November 1 through February 28.
