    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that, Mr. Shelley Evins, Conmac Investments, Inc., 2301 McLain, Newport, Arkansas 72112, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the clearing of trees and leveling of ground to allow a center-pivot irrigation system to make a full circle, thereby converting the area to cropland. The proposed project is located in approximately 5.2 acres of forested wetlands, in the NE 1/4 of section 7, T. 13 N., R. 2 W., Centerville, Jackson County, Arkansas. The basic purpose of the project is to increase agricultural efficiency. The overall purpose of the project is increase the overall area of a property that can be utilized for crop production near Tuckerman.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that, Mr. Jim Pace, C.J. Pace Construction, LLC, 100 Buckland Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72223, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the construction of a 13.75-acre residential development referred to as Georgeanne Estates, consisting of approximately 30 single-family homes, in west Little Rock. The proposed project would impact (fill) and relocate approximately 950 linear feet of a jurisdictional intermittent stream, 560 linear feet of a jurisdictional ephemeral stream, and 0.13 acres of an associated jurisdictional man-made pond, which includes a wetland fringe. A total of 0.41 acres of waters of the United States would be impacted. Water flow enters the project area through an intermittent stream and ephemeral stream that originate in a residential area immediately south of the project property. The ephemeral stream flows into the man-made pond/wetland on the property and the intermittent stream flows north along the property, under Cantrell Road (Highway 10) through two 10-foot-high by 14-foot-wide concrete box culverts. After passing under Cantrell Road, flows pass through a trapezoidal concrete-lined channel and then into the Little Maumelle River and then the Arkansas River. The proposed project is located immediately south of Cantrell Road, in the NW 1/4 of section 24, T. 2 N., R. 14 W., Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403), notice is hereby given that Mr. Ronnie Duffield, Ronnie Duffield Gravel Company, 16 Bluff Drive, Russellville, Arkansas 72802-7866, has requested a time extension of an existing permit that would authorize the continuation of their commercial excavation of sand and gravel. The project is located on the left descending bank of the Arkansas River, Navigation Mile 201.8, in the SW 1/4 of section 33, T. 7 N., R. 20 W., south of Russellville, Pope County, Arkansas. The basic project purpose is to remove sand and gravel for processing and subsequent individual and commercial use. The overall purpose of the project is to remove the material historically deposited by the Arkansas River with a front-end loader and transport by dump truck for processing and sale.

    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Clay McGeorge, Jeffrey Sand Company, PO Box 9054, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72119, has requested a time extension of their existing permit for commercial dredging. The operation is located within the navigation channel of the Arkansas River, between Navigation Miles (NM) 135.8 and 138.9 and between NM 139.4 and 149.5, in Pool 7, in Pulaski, Faulkner, and Perry Counties, Arkansas. Dredging is permitted both in and out of the navigation channel from NM 135.8 to NM 138.9, NM 139.4 to NM 140.7, and NM 143.8 to NM 147.6. Dredging is permitted in the navigation channel only from NM 140.7 to NM 143.8 and NM 147.6 to NM 149.5. The material will be placed ashore for storage and further processing at the facility on the left descending bank of the Arkansas River at NM 117.3 or at the facility on the left descending bank at NM 157.8.

Box 7008, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71611-7008, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the continuation of their commercial sand and gravel dredging operations. The current permitted removal limits are located on the Arkansas River between Navigation Miles 93.9 and 87.4, between Navigation Miles 85.5 and 66.6, and in Lake Langhofer from Pine Bluff Harbor miles 0.0 to 7.5. These areas are in Jefferson and Pulaski Counties, Arkansas.
