GP-41 (2007-2078) - 12/21/2012: In accordance with Title 33 CFR 325.2 and 325.7(e), as published in the November 13, 1986, Federal Register, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, St. Louis, Rock Island, Little Rock and Memphis Districts propose to issue the enclosed regional general permit (GP). This GP was issued on March 21, 2008 and expires on March 21, 2013. This GP, if renewed, will continue to authorize certain discharges of dredged or fill material in conjunction with the permanent protection and/or repair of flood damaged structures, damaged land areas, and/or damaged fills in waters of the United States within the States of Kansas (including Indian Country) and Missouri. This GP is proposed to be reissued unde the authority of Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 USC 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 USC 1344).

SWL 2012-00397 - 11/21/2012: Project Information. Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Watershed Conservation Resource Center 380 W. Rock Street Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701 has submitted their West Fork White River (WFWR) Stream Mitigation Bank prospectus. The prospectus outlines the Watershed Conservation Resource Center’s (WCRC) proposal for developing and operating the bank which is known as the banking instrument.

MVK 2012-01056 - 10/18/2012: Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) has submitted their completed Bayou Meto Mitigation Bank prospectus. The prospectus outlines the AHTD’s proposal for developing and operating the bank which is known as the banking instrument.

SWL 1990-01850-11 - 9/12/2012: Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mountain View Ready Mix, Incorporated Attn: Mr. Todd Lancaster PO Box 1398 Mountain View, Arkansas 72560-1398 has applied for a fifth 5-year extension of their Department of the Army permit to remove a maximum of 10,000 cubic yards (cy) of sand and gravel annually from a 4,100-foot-long sand and gravel bar. The bar is located on the left descending bank of the White River, mile 341.5, just downstream from the State Highway 9 Bridge, near Mountain View, Izard County, Arkansas.

SWL 2002-17892 - 7/16/2012: Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, #2 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the dredging of sediment from portions of the bottom of the 87-acre Rector Brake backwater area. This project would restore habitat features that would increase habitat diversity for fisheries. The proposed project is located in the Arkansas River along the left descending bank between Navigation Miles (NM) 130.0 to 131.2, in Maumelle, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
