    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that, Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-2261, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with dredging and widening approximately 643 linear feet of Crooked Creek. The proposed project is located on Crooked Creek immediately upstream and downstream from the Interstate 30 (I-30) Bridge, in the SW 1/4 of section 8, T. 1 S., R. 13 W., Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. The basic purpose of the project is to increase flow by creating a wider stream channel without obstructions. The overall purpose of the project is to reduce flooding on Interstate 30 between Vimy Ridge Road and the Saline County Line. The project is water dependent.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that, Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, P.O. Box 2267, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-2400, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with construction of a bypass road between State Highway 16 and U.S. Highway 67/167. A total of 790 linear feet of streams and 1.0 acre of wetlands would be impacted by the proposed project. The proposed project is located in wetlands directly abutting an unnamed tributary to Rocky Branch, Rocky Branch, and an unnamed tributary to Rocky Branch, in sections 2 and 3, T. 7 N., R. 7 W., sections 31 and 32, T. 8 N., R. 6 W., and sections 33, 34, 35, and 36, T. 8 N., R. 7 W., Searcy, White County, Arkansas. The basic purpose of the project is to relieve traffic issues in Searcy, Arkansas. The overall purpose of the project is to allow traffic to avoid Race Street and Beebe Capps Expressway, thus relieving traffic numbers on both roadways. The project would allow drivers traveling from the north and drivers traveling from U.S. Highway 67/167 to bypass traffic in downtown Searcy. The project would also provide traffic on the west side of Searcy better access to U.S. Highway 67/167.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with replacing the bridge over Coffee Creek on State Highway 216 and widening the approaches. The proposed project is located approximately two miles south of Perryville in section 26, T. 4 N., R. 17 W., Perry County, Arkansas. Total length of the project is approximately 0.4 miles.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with replacing the Interstate 40 Bridge and Approaches crossing the White River in Prairie County near the Wattensaw Wildlife Management Area. The proposed project is located approximately five miles north of DeValls Bluff at River Mile 126.6, in sections 29, 31, and 32, T. 3 N., R. 4 W., Prairie County, Arkansas. Construction of the new bridge would be approximately 200 feet upstream from the existing bridge in order to avoid the interruption of highway traffic.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with widening U.S. Highway 62 between Berryville and Green Forest. The proposed project begins approximately one mile east of Berryville and ends approximately one mile west of Green Forest in sections 34 and 35, T. 20 N., R. 24 W., and in sections 1, 2 and 3, T. 19 N., R. 24 W., and in section 6, T. 19 N., R. 23 W., Carroll County, Arkansas. Total length of the project is approximately 3.7 miles. The basic purpose of the project is to provide safe and efficient movement of traffic within the region. The overall purpose of the project is to upgrade the U.S. Highway 412/62 corridor across the northern segment of the state. The project is not water dependent, and an extensive alternative analysis was completed as part of the environmental impact statement (EIS).
