    AUTHORIZATION FOR EMERGENCY PERMIT PROCESSING PROCEDURES IN LITTLE ROCK DISTRICT for impacts resulting from Hurricane Laura. On August 26, 2020, the Little Rock District Corps of Engineers requested Delegation of Authority Associated with Alternative (Emergency) Permit Processing Procedures in Little Rock District (SWL) associated with impacts resulting from Hurricane Laura.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Department of Transportation, 10324 Interstate 30, PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-2261, has requested authorization for work, including the placement of dredged and fill material, in waters of the United States associated with constructing a new overpass over Interstate 40 (I-40) and the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), and relocating a portion of State Highway 89 at Mayflower. The proposed project is located in section 25, T. 4 N., R. 14. W., and in sections 19, 20 and 30, T. 4 N., R. 13 W., Faulkner County, Arkansas. The project purpose is to construct a new overpass over the railroad and interstate in order to improve safety, eliminate delays and better facilitate the flow of traffic on State Highway 89 through the Mayflower area.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Colonel John M Schutte, Little Rock Air Force Base, 19th Airlift Wing, 1250 Thomas Avenue, Room 106, Little Rock AFB, Arkansas 72099, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in wetlands and waters of the United States associated with improvements to Runway 07-25 on the Little Rock Air Force Base. Construction would require filling of wetlands and jurisdictional streams as well as filling and rerouting of jurisdictional streams.

    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), and Section 408 (33 U.S. Code Section 408) notice is hereby given that, Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT), PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203, has requested authorization for work, including the placement of dredged and fill material, in waters of the United States associated with replacing the Interstate 30 Bridge and approaches crossing the Arkansas River in Little Rock and North Little Rock as well as improving a portion of Interstate 30 (I-30) from Interstate 530 (I-530) and Interstate 440 (I-440) to Interstate 40 (I-40). The project would also improve a portion of I-40 from Highway 365 (MacArthur Drive) to US Highway 67/167 including associated interchanges. This project is commonly called the 30 Crossing Project. The proposed project is located in sections 2, 11 and 14, T. 1 N., R. 12 W., in sections 22, 25, 26, 27 and 35, T. 2 N., R. 12 W., and in section 30, T. 2 N., R. 11 W., Pulaski County, Arkansas.
