Mariners are advised that flows on the Arkansas River are expected to increase after rainfall of 4 to 5 inches fell across western Arkansas.
As of June 24, 2019, the forecasted peak flows and dates are as follows:
Van Buren: 270,000 cfs on Tuesday, June 25
Dardanelle: 290,000 cfs on Wednesday, June 26
Toad Suck Ferry: 300,000 cfs on Wednesday, June 26
Little Rock: 300,000 cfs on Thursday, June 27
Pine Bluff: 300,000 cfs on Friday, June 28
Dam 2: 300,000 cfs on Saturday, June 29
High-water closures of locks will occur as local conditions warrant and will be announced in separate Navigation Notices.
