    Branson, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers is moving the Table Rock Lake Master Plan Revision Workshop scheduled for Dec. 1 from the Dewey Short Visitor Center to Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa & Convention Center to accommodate larger crowds.
  • CORPS USING NOISE MAKING DEVICE TO DISCOURAGE VULTURES AT BULL SHOALS DAM

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers Mountain Home Project Office is using a propane powered noise making cannon to disperse the hundreds of vultures that have recently invaded the area around Bull Shoals Dam.
  • HIGHWAY ACROSS TABLE ROCK DAM REDUCED TO ONE LANE WEEKDAYS

    BRANSON, Mo. – Highway 165/265 between Table Rock Lake’s dam and spillway will be reduced to one lane weekdays beginning Monday, Nov. 26 and ending on Thursday, Jan 10, 2013 to repair and seal the road surface across the dam. The lane will be reopened at 4:30 p.m. each Friday and will close each Monday at 7 a.m. until the repairs are completed.
  • APPLICATIONS SOUGHT FOR YOUTH DEER HUNT AT GREERS FERRY LAKE

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers is taking applications through Dec. 14 for a special youth deer hunt to be held Dec. 20 and 21 in the Old Highway 25 Park at Greers Ferry Lake. Up to three permits will be issued to hunters age 7 to 15.
  • CORPS ISSUES REMINDER OF PUBLIC WORKSHOPS FOR TABLE ROCK MASTER PLAN REVISIONS

    Branson, Mo. -- The Army Corps of Engineers is reminding interested persons that it will hold three public workshops Nov. 28-29 and Dec. 1 in Reeds Spring, Shell Knob and Branson to discuss the update process and seek input on the Table Rock Lake Master Plan Revision. All interested persons are invited.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – On Nov. 15, the Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, wrapped up its Arkansas public workshops regarding proposed changes to lockage policies on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System.

    MONTGOMERY POINT L&D - The date of the scheduled closure of Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5) HAS CHANGED to 1 a.m. on December 1 through 11 p.m. on December 21, 2012.
  • NAV NOTICE SWL 12-52 - MKARNS - INTERMITTENT DELAYS POSSIBLE

    MONTGOMERY POINT L&D - Mariners are advised the crest gates are raised and the navigation pass at Montgomery Point Lock & Dam (NM 0.5) is closed. All vessels are required to pass through the lock. Intermittent delays are possible as the Corps of Engineers Floating Plants and divers perform preparatory actions for the lock dewatering scheduled Nov. 26.
  • ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 25 ACROSS GREERS FERRY DAM

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – One lane of Highway 25 across Greers Ferry Dam will close temporarily for four weeks beginning Nov. 26.

    Little Rock, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers’ Little Rock District website will be unavailable from 1 p.m. Nov. 9 until 7 a.m. Nov. 13 due to scheduled building maintenance.
