Corps closes Indian Creek Swim Beach until further notice
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Beaver Project Office has closed the swim beach at Indian Creek located on Beaver Lake near Rogers, Arkansas, until further notice. The temporary closure is the result of higher than acceptable E-Coli levels that were found during routine testing conducted by the Arkansas Department of Health.

One lane of Highway 187 across Beaver Dam to temporarily close
ROGERS, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will temporarily close one lane of the Highway 187 Bridge across Beaver Dam from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 8, 9 and 10 to perform a routine inspection of the structure.

CORPS TO INCREASE RELEASES FROM CLEARWATER DAM
PIEDMONT, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District expects releases from Clearwater Lake to gradually increase to about 7,000 cubic feet per second by Saturday afternoon. The pool is expected to crest at elevation 570.8 at that time.

CORPS SEEKS COMMENTS ON DOCUMENTS RELATED TO STREAM BANK PROTECTION ON THE STILLHOUSE BRANCH, A TRIBUTARY OF THE WHITE RIVER IN BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Army Corps of Engineers is seeking public comments through Nov. 22 on environmental documents relating to stream bank protection work on the Stillhouse Branch tributary of the White River in Batesville, Ark.
