Little Rock, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers’ Little Rock District and Arkansas Procurement Assistance Center are hosting a free federal contracting forum, June 2 - 4, for businesses interested in working with the Corps.
All businesses interested in previewing the Little Rock Districts current and future contracting requirements, networking with industry representatives and presenting a capability brief to Corps representatives are invited to attend. The Little Rock District has a vast and diverse mission that is responsible for operating 12 multipurpose lakes, 13 locks and dams, 308 miles of navigation on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, 178 parks and 7 hydroelectric plants. The district also provides support to the Little Rock Air Force Base, Fort Chaffee, and the Pine Bluff Arsenal as well as other military facilities in Texas and Oklahoma.
