The date of the scheduled closure of Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5) HAS CHANGED to 1 a.m. on December 1 through 11 p.m. on December 21, 2012. The schedule change is due to critical shipper needs. The lock is scheduled to be closed during this timeframe for dewatering to make repairs to the land wall miter gates.
The lock will reopen to Navigation traffic as stated unless unforeseen problems require additional time to complete repairs. The navigation pass will open to traffic once the tail water elevation reaches 115. Waterway users should schedule their activities around this closure.
