PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will temporarily close the boat ramp at Rising Star Park south of Pine Bluff, Arkansas from Jan.13 until further notice.
The Pine Bluff Site Office scheduled the closure to demolish and replace the outdated and flood damaged gatehouse and restroom.
Because of safety concerns during the construction it is necessary for the boat ramp to close.
Officials at the site office regret any inconvenience this may cause and ask for the public’s cooperation until the work is complete.
