ROGERS, Ark. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is closing both lanes of the Arkansas Highway 187 bridge across Beaver Dam from 9 a.m. Nov. 5 until 6 p.m. Nov. 6 to remove stoplogs from one of the dam's intake gates.  If you are traveling in the area use Arkansas Highway 62 as an alternative route.

Officials at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Beaver Lake Project Office regret any inconvenience this may cause and asks for the public's cooperation until the work is complete. The closure is being coordinated with emergency services and law enforcement agencies.  Corps officials ask travelers to plan alternate routes and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
