MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark.  – The Corps of Engineers will keep one lane of Highway 177 across Norfork Dam closed through Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. The temporary lane closure was scheduled to end Jan. 25, but due to unforeseen events and some severe weather, the closure must be extended to facilitate repairs to a damaged concrete parapet wall.

The closure has been coordinated with local emergency and law enforcement agencies.  Officials from the Army Corps of Engineers Mountain Home Project Office regret any inconvenience this may cause.  If you are traveling in this area, please expect delays, obey traffic lights, and drive cautiously around equipment and work crews.

For more information, contact the Mountain Home Project Office at 870-425-2700.
