CORPS TO CEASE POWER GENERATION AT TABLE ROCK DAM TO ALLOW FOR VEHICLES TO BE REMOVED FROM LAKE TANEYCOMO

BRANSON, Mo. – At the request of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources the Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will cease power generation through Table Rock Dam from 6 a.m. until noon July 14 and 15 to help facilitate the removal of vehicles swept into Lake Taneycomo during the June flooding event. ASHDOWN, Ark. – Corps of Engineers personnel reminds residents that Highway 32 across Millwood Lake will close at 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, July 16 while the sluice gate conduits at the base of the spillway are inspected. CORPS LIFTS SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR ARKANSAS RIVER

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers has lifted the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. Col. Paul E. Owen takes command of USACE Southwestern Division

DALLAS—Col. Paul E. Owen took command of the Southwestern Division today in a ceremony officiated by Lt. Gen. Todd T.
