On a clear, still day, you can see double at Arthur V. Ormond Lock and Dam near Morrilton. Located at mile 177 on the Arkansas River, the dam impounds a 30-mile section of water now known as Winthrop Rockefeller Lake. The lake is named after Arkansas' 37th governor who owned a cattle ranch nearby in Conway County.
